ProposalCafe.com has become the largest collection of free, proposal development-related resources on the internet. We continue to grow in quantity and (we hope) quality. Not only does the site have more articles, resource links, calendar events, videos, and "bookstore" selections, the number of registered members and the postings for jobs available and sought have increased dramatically. Our Forum format has been simplified and made more user-friendly.
So as we work to enhance (and publicize) ProposalCafe.com, here's a series of "if's" we'd like you to consider:
1. If you're not a ProposalCafe.com member yet, we encourage you to join. It's easy to do (and free of charge) and will allow you to access all resources on the site.
2. If you're a proposal consultant and don't have your "shingle" hanging on ProposalCafe.com, please do so in the Jobs Sought section. Who knows? Maybe your next proposal gig will come from someone seeing your name on ProposalCafe.com.
3. If you're seeking candidates for a permanent or temporary proposal work, please post the job opening in the Jobs Available section. There is a nominal fee for this service.
4. If you sell a product/service related to proposal development, find prospective customers by becoming a ProposalCafe.com advertiser. We offer three levels of sponsorship to fit your pocket book. See http://proposalcafe.com/index.php/Sponsorship-Information.html for sponsorship info.
5. If you want to contribute an article or suggest a resource link for posting on ProposalCafe.com, please let us know. Having your article posted on ProposalCafe.com is a great way for you to get "published" and to share your proposal "wisdom."
On another subject: we encourage you to check out the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP): www.apmp.org. We are both APMP members and highly recommend APMP membership and attendance at its conference and chapter meetings for enhancing your proposal development skills. There are several APMP chapter meetings scheduled in the next few months. For more info about APMP chapter meetings, see http://www.apmp.org.
